BRIDGE NETWORK - PhD student

Peter Baranga graduated with a Master of Science in Information Systems from Uganda Martyrs University, Uganda in 2013 and with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Makerere University, Uganda in 2006. Since November 2006,
He has been working in the education sector as a teaching assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Later as an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Science, Technology and Innovations at Mountains of the Moon University.
He has been lecturing students mainly in the fields of Web-Applications Design, Database management systems, Information systems, object-oriented Programming as well as Supervision of students’ Academic projects.
Over the years, he has been involved in several impactful projects, including Integrated Data Management System project at Mountains of the Moon University, Applied Curricula in Technology for East Africa (ACTEA) Project, and Applied Human Machine Intelligence (AHUMAIN) project.
These experiences have deepened his passion for applying technology to improve data management for decision making, particularly in developing regions like Sub-Saharan Africa.
